Plan example
Below is an example of the kinds of instructions you will get in the package
WHAT TO DO
Facilitator introduces self to participants. Even where the facilitator
knows the participants it is still necessary to get reacquainted, explain
the rationale for the facilitator being involved, and why the program
is being delivered in general terms.
WHAT TO SAY
Example: My name is John and as you know I am the health teacher for Year
10. We have decided to deliver this program to students because it would
be useful to look at the ways we look at and respond to different groups
of people in society. I'm here to deliver this because I'm interested
in this area, have observed the positive and negative reactions to difference
of students in various classes.
WHY
This introduction is useful in relation to the nature of the program.
It is not assumed that participants will know why the program is being
delivered - albeit in very general terms - and why a particular person
is delivering it.
Feedback - what do students, teachers and workers
say?
